pike street market in seattle

I LOVE markets. Farmers markets, flea markets, open air, closed air... Pike st market was one of my all time favorites...

These tomatoes were so colorful I just wanted to jam them all in my mouth

The fresh flowers alone had me in full freak out mode!!!! They had dahliahs the size of your head; zinnias like crazy just all over

This bouquet was only TEN FREAKING DOLLARS!!! I have to say the women assembling the bouquets were floral artists the likes I have never seen before...I'm telling you if i were getting married in the Seattle area? I would just swoop in the day of and buy a bunch of bouquets for the centerpieces, all different, but all just their own little works of art. How beautiful would that be???

I stopped and tried some of the BEST pepper jellies I have ever had! The hot one kicked my butt, but I loved the beer one and the merlot one. I bought the mild pepper jelly for home

Here is Connectocut's own, Steve Depino... ;)

We had their famous fish and chips, and the worlds best cole slaw.....

So Steve runs into Johnny Damon, the Yankees center fielder in downtown Seattle! Lucky for him he had his own personal paparazzi!!

Did you see the boys in the market who throw the fish around? It's awesome to watch.

Please tell me you went into the wind up toy store, The Great Wind Up. I love that place! It's in one of the corners of the market.
