michelle + brian NYC e shoot

We did most of our shoot on the Columbia Campus, but also hit up a few other spots throughout the day...

One of the highlights was stopping in at the diner that was most likely made famous by being the featured 'Restaurant' on Seinfeld where they ate every day. Not for that reason, although I admit that was cool, but because I had the BEST FREAKING milk shake EVER in the history of the world! P-I-S-T-A-C-I-O. Yeah, you heard me.

Even thought my cousin Steph went to Barnard (where Michelle went and is across the street) I had never been to the campus before of either Barnard or Columbia. Boy, is it PRETTY. Like movie college campus pretty. Like not only was the architecture great but it appeared to have such a diverse campus as well, like almost as if it were made up by the UN kind of diverse.

Like five minutes into our shoot we spotted this statue that had this awesome plaque on it that read 'Love, Cherish, Defend It' and we shot there for what I am sure felt like forever to poor Michelle and Brian! But they know how Mike and I LOVE shooting rings, or at least they do now! :)

I'd have to say a while back I may have cringed at the thought of shooting in a dark church on a perfectly nice and sunny day... but it was a little too bright out and Mike and I thought it would be fun to explore some of the cool interior spaces on the campus. They have this gorgeous chapel here that was so rich and vibrant.

I told Michelle and Brian that as we walked around the city we may stop if we saw things that were fun places to shoot... and of course we HAD to stop at this fire house, right?

Can't wait for your wedding guys!!

to say Mike and I are both trigger happy fools would be a bit of an understatement...but it's only because we try to work so many different shots and try new things.. and... and... and...! OK. But. I respectfully decline to assign a number!
